The acquisition of a Sponge Iron (DRI) plant in Koppal, Karnataka marks a significant milestone in MSAF's growth journey and its transition towards a more integrated steel value chain. With a 650 TPD DRI facility, a 12 MW power plant, and approximately 135 acres of land, Unit-3 expands MSAF's manufacturing footprint into its third state while strengthening an important upstream link in our steel-making ecosystem.
But the significance of the new Sponge Iron plant goes beyond the assets we have acquired.
It strengthens the foundation behind every tonne of steel we deliver.
